Hindu Priest Services

 
Request for Services
 
Our Temple priests are available to perform religious services for families in their homes, rental halls or at the temple. Please review the THT Priest Services list below, for the list of priest services we offer.
 
We kindly request devotees not to request specific Priest, all requests are assigned to our Priests in the order it is received. THT has two experienced Pandits who can perform all Sampradayas,rituals, pujas, speak english and many indian languages and share equal responsibility. Temple management cannot always guarantee that we can assign requested Priest. Based on Priest availability and Temple needs, Temple management will assign available priest.
 
THT has specific guidelines for booking priest services when it is conducted at the Temple premises (either during open hours or non-open hours) based on the type of event and the number of attendees. For smaller gatherings (up to 8 people, including the person performing the puja and their immediate family), only the standard priest service fees apply. However, for larger private events with more than 8 attendees, additional rental fees are required along with the standard priest service fees. This approach helps us to manage temple resources and ensures fair use of the space and services. 
 
All Priest service requests should be submitted first only through the website using the "Services ->Priest Services" tab starting Oct 1st 2020 for Priests and Priest Committee to provide a prompt response. Please DO NOT CONTACT Priests via other modes(Phone or Text) for Muhurtham/date or time, until the  website request is submitted and Priest is assigned.  Muthurtham or preferred time and date can be finalized with the assigned Priest(viaPhone or Text), after the initial request submitted through the website. Website request will help Priest and Temple Board to keep track of your request and provide prompt response. 
 
Priest service query submitted through the website will be answered within 3 days. Please contact BOD(bod@triadhindutemple.org), if you didn’t receive a response within 3 days.

Temple Priest service fees include 20% Sambhavana/Commission to Priest. After the completion of the priest service, suggested Donation/Dakshina is 20% at discretion of devotee’s satisfaction.
 
We request devotees to make payments for priest service thru THT website/Priest Portal or provide check in the name "Triad Hindu Temple or HSNC North Central Region" given to Priest after the service.

For booking priest services, please submit your request through the website well in advance:

  • Outside Temple Priest Services greater than 25 miles one way will have to pay mileage to the Priest at 0.70/mile
  • Please coordinate with the Priest for a list of materials required for the above priest services. The host is responsible for procuring all the puja items
  • The above mentioned amount should be paid at least three days in advance either online using Paypal or by check in favor of HSNC/THT
  • Additionally, as per your convenience, Priest Dakshina can be paid by the host directly to the Priest upon completing the services
  • For special services not listed above, you can use Other/Special Service with or without Homam options
  • Above charges don't include overnight Priest stay. Please contact the temple authorities at priest@triadhindutemple.org for Priest overnight stay charges
  • Host is responsible to provide flight/stay for outstation priest services
  • Priest service charges for marriage are for 0-4 hours only. There is $50/hr charge for anything above 4 hours.
